CrimeView Enterprise includes: CrimeView Desktop, a crime analysis solution for assessment, planning and accountability; CrimeView Web where entire departments can access crime analysis tools through a Web browser; and CrimeView Community, which allows community access to crime data via a Web browser.
"These mapping applications connect directly to a police agency’s existing records systems and help reduce crime by assisting with resource allocation," explains Trip Albagdadi, director of marketing at the San Diego, California, company.
Through CrimeView Enterprise, law enforcement agencies can quickly identify problem areas, use standardized density maps to present the distributions of various crimes, such as assaults, can create "Hot Spot" maps, showing the clustering of residential burglaries, generate "repeat calls" maps, run "known suspects" maps, and so on. Data can be automatically imported into RMS, CAD or GIS and can be deployed to designated agency personnel.
